The X-Wing starter set includes everything you need to begin your battles, such as scenarios, cards, and fully assembled and painted ships. What's more, X-Wing's quick-to-learn ruleset establishes the foundation for a system that can be expanded with your favourite ships and characters from the Star Wars universe.
Note: This is the first edition base set. This can be used to play first edition games with first edition ships. To play the 2nd edition you need the 2nd edition base set. First edition ships can be used with the 2nd edition game with the use of the conversion kits. Only buy this base this base set if you are playing 1st edition games, or for parts (contains 3 ships, dice etc)

Delivery was next day even though I didn't pay for next day delivery!
The game itself is deceptively simple as each turn can take a single minute for both players to act. this means combat is both fun and extremely fast paced!
