He is joined by Leia Organa in her Boussh disguise as a Secondary Unit while Lando Calrissian and R2-D2 join forces as a Supporting Unit. Based upon these characters' daring mission to rescue Han Solo in Return of the Jedi, they form a full Galactic Civil War-era squad that works particularly well with characters with Rebel Alliance tags.
History: Han Solo's rescue from Jabba the Hutt is a key plot in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. The rescue of Han from Jabba starts with Lando Calrissian infiltrating Jabba's palace on Tatooine, disguised as a guard. Princess Leia, disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh, arrives with Chewbacca as a pretend prisoner, earning Jabba's trust. Leia attempts to free Han Solo, who is frozen in carbonite. She successfully unfreezes him, but they are caught by Jabba and his guards. Leia is then forced to become one of Jabba's slaves.
Luke Skywalker arrives at Jabba's palace and tries to negotiate Han's release. However, Jabba refuses and Luke is dropped into a pit to face the Rancor. Luke manages to kill the Rancor, but instead of earning their freedom, Luke, Han, and Chewbacca are sentenced to death by being fed to the Sarlacc, a creature in the Great Pit of Carkoon. However, Luke had planned for this and springs into action. R2-D2, who had been serving on Jabba's sail barge, launches Luke's lightsaber to him. A battle ensues, during which Leia strangles Jabba with her chains, Lando helps rescue Han and Chewbacca, and Luke boards the sail barge to fight Jabba's men. After a fierce battle, they all escape, destroying Jabba's sail barge in the process.
