The seven unpainted, finely detailed BX-series droid commando miniatures you find in this expansion are highly customisable. Beyond their appearance, eight upgrade cards invite you to fine-tune how your droids operate in battle while two unit cards give you the chance to field them either as a full unit or a two-man strike team.

These are probably the best droid units to build, can swap over weapons without issue and just look awesome.

Some elements were difficult to build as instructed due to sub-assemblies (to avoid getting undercoat on the clear plastic shields). Easily worked around, great kit with few mould lines.

Game wise these are excellent. The models themselves are again of high quality, but again this is marred by needlessly splitting shield arms into two pieces when one could have been achieved. This makes the building needlessly fiddly. The shields are also very fragile and break with very little pressure after detaching from the spure, so be careful when cleaning off the remnant of spure.
