I got this pack for the E wings. I was a fan of the material from the 80s and 90s so wanted to see the fighters use in Armada. While it is close, they actually picked the opposite strength of the E wing. Originally these were shorter ranged than X wings due to a deficiency in its Tibanna gas feed. Yet the rules give them "snipe" for a longer weapon range haha. You also get Z-95s which were the precursor to X wings and alot cheaper (and older), their stats and points are bob on. The VCX and Lancer i assume are from the newer Rebels show and have some nice uses and the VCX ace is actually ace. The Lancer is like a gunboat with paper thin armour, so like a security patrol ship from Legends, as the Original Lancer was an anti fighter frigate used by the Empire.
This is an odd ball mix of fighters so not essential unless you are a fan of the particular ships, but they all have good uses within the game. Again the models have just enough detail.
