This misc scatter terrain enhances your battlefield, plus gives your troops things to hide behind. Includes 3 large canisters, a block of 4 canisters, and a liquid canister.
The images shown include the Artists Impression (and suggested colour scheme), plus a picture of the 3D printed model. Some items will show an example of the standard model and the premium model where available, others may only show the standard model. Please see below for examples of the difference.
Building Scale
These buildings can easily be used for Star War Legion (32mm), Infinity (28-32mm), Warhammer 40k (28-32mm), Cyberpunk (28-32mm), and Fallout Wasteland (32mm) as well as any other miniature based games of around the 32mm scale. Please note that Shatterpoint has a 40mm scale, which is 25% bigger, hence the high price to reflect the extra plastic and production time involved.
Print Quality
These items are 3d printed and as such some "layer lines" will be visible. We supply these with 2 Quality settings:
- Standard quality. This is the normal quality and while vertical surfaces, such as walls the layers aren't as obvious, on curved or sloping surfaces such as the doors and roofs the layers will be noticeable. Choose this option if you want a budget option and aren't that fussed about the obvious layers.
- Premium quality. This is a much higher quality print. Vertical surfaces will be better than standard quality, though not hugely. But the details will be much sharper. The other main difference will be on the roofing, doors and other sloped / curved surfaces which will look much better. Very fine layer lines will still be visible if you look really closely, but otherwise they're much less noticeable. Choose this option if you really want them to look like they're not 3d printed and/or if you want to paint them.
The reason for the extra cost on the premium quality prints is the extra printing time required (more than double). Even with our super fast printers, at high quality the medium sized buildings typically a day to print (most are 18-24 hours each), with the larger buildings taking 48 hours, and the spaceport takes a whopping 54 hours! And that's just the 32mm scale, the 40mm scale is 25% larger but weirdly that results in approximately 80% more plastic (because "cubic scaling" apparently!) and a 50% increase in print time.
The buildings are supplied in "Desert Sand" colour, so are ready to use in a desert setting without painting, though obviously as with any miniature they look much better when painted! Machinery is supplied in light grey.
All items are supplied unpainted, and some assembly may be required. Some items may require some minor cleanup prior to use. The B1 battledroid (Star Wars Legion) is for scale only, the droid is not included.
