Asajj Ventress was a Force-sensitive Dathomirian female who played a significant role in the Clone Wars, a major conflict fought between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. She was introduced as a Sith apprentice to Count Dooku, but later became a bounty hunter and mercenary, fighting against both the Republic and the Separatists. As a child, Ventress was sold into slavery and eventually taken in by a group of Nightsisters, a clan of powerful witches on her homeworld of Dathomir. She was trained in the ways of the dark side by the Nightsisters, but her life was forever changed when her clan was destroyed in a conflict with a rival group of Dathomirians. Ventress was then taken under the wing of Count Dooku, who trained her as a Sith assassin and dispatched her on various missions against the Jedi Order. Despite her Sith training, Ventress was not fully loyal to Dooku or the Sith and often acted on her own accord. Over time, Ventress became disillusioned with the Sith and left Dooku's service, becoming a bounty hunter and mercenary. She took on a number of jobs during the Clone Wars, sometimes working with the Republic and sometimes working against them. Ventress formed an unlikely alliance with the Jedi Knight Quinlan Vos, with whom she shared a complicated relationship. Together, they undertook a mission to assassinate Count Dooku, but the plan ultimately failed and Vos turned to the dark side. Ventress was forced to fight against her former ally and was ultimately able to bring him back to the light. After the Clone Wars, Ventress went into hiding and lived a quiet life until she was killed by the bounty hunter Embo, who mistook her for a valuable target. Ventress's legacy, however, lived on, as her skills and experiences were passed down to future generations of Force-users. Now Asajj will be available as an operative for the Separatist Alliance in Star Wars Legion (Clone Wars). Dark Star Games - The UK's best pricing on the Star Wars Legion miniature game |
