A new teaser trailer has just been released, showing the "Shadow Collective", which appears to be a new Scum & Villainy faction for Star Wars Legion! According to Star Wars lore, and covered in the Clone Wars animated series, the Shadow Collective was a criminal alliance founded by Darth Maul during the Clone Wars. It consisted of Death Watch (a Mandalorian splinter faction), Black Sun, and the Pyke Syndicate all of which can be seen in the teaser trailer. We can also see a brand new Maul model with the Darksabre. The Official Release Date has not been confirmed, the only information we have is that the release is slated for "2022".

I wonder if this is a separate core set or an expansion onto the Separatists and Empire.
It's not a core set as such - ie. it's not a playable game with all of the dice and rulers and manuals etc.
It is more of a faction starting set - ie. just a box of several related factions.
